That (however infrequent) chill in the air assures me that we are, in fact, headed into fall weather. I used to be a strict summer heat girl but the older I get the more I appreciate the turn of the season: the leaves beginning to take on their fall hues, mums and pumpkins on every porch, football season, and it’s finally cool enough to be able to enjoy a round at the golf course! But, I can’t help but wonder how we got here in what feels like lightening speed!!
Then I went back and reviewed all the
things from the last few months that I couldn’t wait to share in this newsletter and immediately knew how that happened. It’s been a whirlwind of a year...and we still have a few months to go! Looking back made me both a little bit tired and a whole lot excited for what EMpact has done in 2024. It also gave me a renewed energy to finish out this year strong in order to meet our goals and be prepared for all that is in store for us as we prepare for all the incredible things that 2025 has in store for us.
But, more than anything else, I am so grateful beyond all measure. This organization is truly changing lives in our community and there is nowhere I would rather be than leading the charge. The EMpact One Foundation has the most phenomenal support system. From individual one time and recurring donors to corporations that support our events and programs we are incredibly blessed. And, in turn, we are able to pay those blessings forward in the form of changing the lives of young people and families in our community.
As I always say, we couldn’t do what we do without you, and we treasure every ounce of your unrelenting support!
